WHEN VISITING THE STUDIO…

COME AS YOU ARE

We believe a safe, welcoming, and inclusive class environment is of utmost importance. We invite all fitness levels and all genders, shapes, and sizes to come fly with us! Our only requirement is that all students are 18+ and kind and courteous to fellow students, the REVOLT team, and our studio home.

ARRIVING AND LEAVING THE STUDIO

Please arrive no more than 10 minutes before your class, and please depart no more 10 minutes after your class. This is to ensure all students and staff members can comfortably prepare for classes. We also ask that friends and family wait outside whenever possible, in order to keep a comfortable class experience for all students.
There’s plenty of free parking in The Shops at Wells Branch and various different businesses and restaurants available during their wait.

DOORS LOCK WHEN CLASSES STARTS

For security and safety reasons, we will lock the doors 10 minutes after the start of class. After this point, no late entry is allowed. We ask that everyone please respect this policy and do not attempt to enter class more than 10 minutes late.

NO SPECTATORS DURING CLASS

We have a strict no spectator policy at REVOLT. This is to ensure the comfort and privacy of all of our students while they enjoy class. Students enrolled in the class and REVOLT team will be the only ones allowed to enter classrooms during session.

PROPER ATTIRE AND HYGIENE

Attire — To fully enjoy your pole experience, please wear short athletic pole/yoga shorts that are tight fitting and sufficiently cover private areas. We also recommend a tank top/tight shirt and barefeet/socks. Optional, but helpful would be knee pads. To fully enjoy your aerial experience, please wear yoga pants or tight fitting pants. We also recommend a tank top/tight shirt and barefeet/socks.

Lotion — Please avoid applying lotions especially on the hands and legs when coming to the studio. Body balms and lotions do not always fully absorb into your skin. These will then adhere to our poles, making them dangerously slick for you and our other students. It’s safe to avoid balms and lotions at least 24 hours before your scheduled class.

Hygiene — Since we work near and, at times, in close contact with each other, please practice appropriate hygiene management before class. Please wear clean workout clothes and deodorant. Also, please avoid using heavily scented perfumes as some are sensitive and allergic to these smells.

Accessories – All jewelry and watches will need to be removed during the lesson due to safety reasons and because they damage the poles.

INSTRUCTION DURING CLASS

For student safety, please be respectful of your instructor and do not instruct other students during class. Instructing and spotting students can be dangerous both for the instructor and student, so we ask that all students refrain from teaching, spotting, and executing tricks outside of the instructors curriculum (unless specifically allowed by the instructor). If someone asks you for help, direct them to the instructor.

FILMING AND PHOTOGRAPHY

We encourage students to document their pole and aerial journey, however, please wait to do so at appropriate times and with the consent of anyone who may end of up in your shots. During class, our instructors will dedicate time to capture these moments. We simply ask that you be respectful of others and their privacy as they may not be comfortable being photographed or filmed.
***We do not allow filming of our instructors while they are instructing class.***

DRUGS AND ALCOHOL

Drugs and alcohol are not permited in the studio. Those attempting to attend class under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol will be asked to leave and will not receive a refund.

Mission

Our mission is to provide a safe, inclusive space for all identities to explore individual creativity and movement through pole and aerial arts. We invite everyone to come fly with us and share your journey! #revoltatx #flywithoutfear
